We are enjoying our 65th year since forming, Little Common Horticultural Society is
experiencing an increasing membership, as the current trend for “growing your own”
and interest in all things to do with gardening gains popularity once more, and is
constantly promoted in the press.
Our committee are enthusiastic, hard-working, and always looking for new ideas to
give inspiration to the membership. We pride ourselves on the variety of speakers
attracted to talk on all subjects horticultural, plus connected talks to do with the
countryside, and experienced advice on any gardening problems. Our annual lunch
each March gives members a chance to relax and get to know each other. We
hold meetings on the second Friday of each month at Little Common
Community Centre in Shepherds Close, commencing at 7.15 pm.
Membership is £3.00 per annum, with a £2.00 charge being levied by
the Community Centre if you are not a member of any other group
using the facilities. |
